Terms of Service
Last updated .
These terms cover using Copyrail and buying it. Copyrail is made by an independent developer. Questions go to hello@copyrail.com, and you'll get a reply within 2 business days.
The Trial
The Trial is the first three days of use, when every feature works without a Purchase. Only calendar days on which you open the Panel count toward the three, and the Trial ends at midnight after the third. If it ends without a Purchase, Copyrail stops adding what you copy to your History. Your History is kept, and you can still search it and delete from it.
Purchase
A Purchase is a one-time payment that lets Copyrail work on up to three of your Macs at a time. To use it on another Mac once three are active, deactivate one of them to free its place.
The price excludes VAT or sales tax, which is added at checkout where it applies.
Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, the merchant of record and authorized reseller of Copyrail. Dodo's Buyer Terms, shown at checkout, also apply to your Purchase.
Refunds follow the Refund Policy.
Updates
A Purchase includes updates for as long as Copyrail is developed. There is no obligation to keep developing it. If the service that activates Macs stops, Macs already activated keep working. There is no promise of a way to activate a Mac offline.
No warranty
Copyrail is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. It may have bugs, and it may not suit what you need it for.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, the developer of Copyrail isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it, such as lost data or lost profits. Total liability for anything related to Copyrail is limited to what you paid for your Purchase. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that consumer protection laws where you live give you.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change. A change takes effect when it's posted on this page with a new Last updated date, and no email is sent about it. A change never takes updates or Mac activations away from a Purchase already made.
